Daniel Chavez Moran: Eco-System Conservation

Eco-System ConservationPreserving the Mexican ecology and protecting the marine sea turtles are part of the vacation experience at the Acapulco, Riviera Maya and Mayan Palace, all Grupo Mayan Resorts. Though retired since 2005, Daniel Chavez Moran is proud of the continuing efforts of the Grupo Vidanta management team to protect threatened and endangered species.

At the Mayan Palace Resort, freeing baby turtles becomes an activity for guests from October until December, when sea turtles lay their eggs on the beaches. This unique experience educates guests about the importance of the natural eco-system to Mexico.
