Daniel Chavez Moran: Visitors to Mexico Welcomed

Daniel-Chavez-Moran-Visitors-Welcomed-MexicoPhilanthropist Daniel Chavez Moran, credited with the modernization of the tourism industry in Mexico in the 1990s, notes this news report from the Wall Street Journal: “Mexico is a safe place to visit,” Mexican President Felipe Calderon told attendees at the Global Travel & Tourism Summit held recently in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Visitors to Mexico grew to 23 million in 2010 and Mexico’s Caribbean coast remains the world’s top port of call, welcoming six million cruise-ship visitors last year.
